Graypaw Integrates GrayVisions Inspection System into Custom Desks for Quick Start in Inspecting Ports on Single-Use Bioreactors

We’ve just completed a custom desk for one of our clients, and we have a new video from the production floor showcasing it. Designed and built in collaboration with Atlantic Valve Services, this desk is tailored to meet specific requirements for working with single-use bioreactors.

The desk is designed for the easy and efficient inspection of ports welded onto single-use bioreactor bags in the pharmaceutical manufacturing process. A key feature of this setup is its ability to integrate seamlessly into existing infrastructure without disrupting the client’s established processes.

Once the ports are welded onto the bioreactor bags, the operator simply moves the package to the custom desk for inspection. The GrayVisions inspection system performs the following tasks:

• Automatic defect analysis: GrayVisions analyzes the ports for defects, classifying them as “good” or “bad.”
